Main Responsibilities To assist and provide consultancy in all aspects of theatre design, specialising in sound and audiovisual systems design.
Qualifications BMus hons (Tonmeister) in Music and Sound Recording (2:1), University of Surrey. Modules included Acoustics, Audio Engineering and Video Engineering. Associate member of Association of British Theatre Technicians. Full member of Audio Engineering Society. IPAF category 3a and 3b. First Aid at Work Qualified.
Experience Seven years professional experience as a sound engineer, theatre technician and technical manager, most recently as Technical Manager of Battersea Arts Centre with overall responsibility for sound, video, lighting and stage. Sound engineering expertise includes theatre, live, festival and studio work, including a year at Abbey Road studios.
Teaching Vocal recording workshop, Camberley Theatre. Various workshops, Surrey County Arts.
