Experience Chief electrician/lighting designer at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford (1984-90), and Chief electrician at The Old Vic, London (1990-97). Freelance lighting designer, including ‘Groucho’ and ‘Wife begins at 40’ in the West End. Freelance production electrician/assistant LD for over 50 West End shows, including ‘Billy Elliot’, as well as many UK regional tours, conferences, car shows and exhibitions.
Glantre Engineering - Senior Lighting Engineer (1998/9). Design, project management and installation of lighting systems in arts centres and theatres, as well as new-build cruise ships for P&O and Disney.
Freelance project work since 1999: Design and specification of feature lighting schemes for Wynn Resorts hotels in Las Vegas and Macau for Patrick Woodroffe Lighting. Design and project management of lighting systems installation on new-build cruise ships for Crystal Cruises and Norwegian Cruise lines. Design and installation of lighting systems in Millennium Dome, V&A museum, Celtic Manor conference centre.
